Jo & Aaron
What a wedding! Jo and Aaron’s day had it all, a singing waiter, surprise saxophonist, magician, awesome York wedding photographer 😉 and the father of the bride (a bit of a legend) rocking it on the drums. This wedding was jumping early-doors, with the guests up on their feet busting some grooves before the speech notes had seen the light of day.
Their day was very nearly hampered by the usual temperamental UK weather. However, this didn’t dampen spirits, everyone’s positivity must have made the clouds clear as the rain stopped and the day was epic.
As a York wedding photographer, the journey to Jo and Aaron’s wedding wasn’t far from my doorstep and was a welcome change for my first wedding in Hull. The venue was new, beautifully fresh, had a great indoor space and the staff were fantastic at The Barn at Willerby Hill
When photographing a wedding I like to immerse myself in the day. I chat, get on the dance floor and see things through the lens as if I were a guest. The secondary effect is you get an up and close snapshot of the day. What struck me about Jo and Aaron’s family and friends was how close everyone was. There was a real sense of togetherness, lots of hugs, an abundance of laughter and made for a truly fantastic day.
Jo, Aaron, and their most awesome guests thank you for having me capture your most excellent day, it was an absolute pleasure.
As a special thanks for being such awesome guests, there is a 50% off code on all prices. This is only valid for the next 2 weeks. Simply enter the code: THANKYOU when you check out.
Also, if you like what you see and are on the lookout for a North Yorkshire wedding photographer, I’d love to hear about your day.
So, without further ado, Jo and Aaron.
